About the Role

We are seeking an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our friendly and dynamic team at Community Based Rehabilitation. Community Based Rehabilitation provides quality rehabilitation services across Sub-acute and ambulatory care services (SACS). Use your musculoskeletal expertise to deliver great outcomes for patients with a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and in collaboration with our university partners our Western Centre for Health Research and Education provides a range of purpose built, state of the art teaching facilities, offering contemporary, innovative and accredited programs.


  • Deliver effective individual, group based and hydrotherapy programs for clients with a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
  • Supervise rotating Grade 1’s and allied health assistants
  • Supervise physiotherapy students as part of the University of Melbourne physiotherapy teaching program
  • Be proactive about identifying and addressing issues that interfere with patients receiving Best Care through the physiotherapy quality program

Skills & Experience

  • Recognised degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Demonstrated understanding of manual handling risk reduction
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence
  • Current working with children’s check
  • A commitment to high quality, safe and person centred care
