About the Role

Theatre Discovery endeavours to provide base core knowledge within a supportive clinical environment for the development of specialised Peri Operative Nurses.

This six month full time position will see participants initially working day shifts. This may extend to afterhours work. There is normally no weekend or public holiday shifts required and students will work at a single campus in one of the streams with opportunity for cross campus experience.

Formal clinical appraisal and assessments of competency skills are undertaken throughout the course and completion of the program is dependent on their completion.  Orientation, study days and supernumerary time is included.
