About the Role

A position is available for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the dynamic Inpatient Rehabilitation Physiotherapy team at Western Health.  Based at Sunshine Hospital, the Grade 2 Physiotherapist will service a predominately neurological caseload with some general rehabilitation clients. The role will include weekend work.

Working in a multidisciplinary team the Physiotherapist will provide individual and group based therapy in both the gym and hydrotherapy environments.  There are opportunities to be involved in student teaching, staff supervision, quality improvement and service development.  The position is well supported by a Senior Clinician and the multidisciplinary team.

Duties

  • Provide Physiotherapy services on the Rehabilitation unit
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
  • Contribute to ongoing research and quality improvement activities
