About the Role
The Department of Respiratory and Sleep Disorders Medicine is a busy subspecialty unit operating across both Footscray and Sunshine Hospitals, delivering clinical services, research and teaching within Western Health. Currently we admit approximately 1400 inpatients per year and provide a non-invasive ventilation service.
We seek enthusiastic Respiratory Physicians to join our casual bank of Respiratory Physicians to support service provision to for inpatient and outpatient services across Footscray and Sunshine campuses during periods of physician leave.
Duties
Duties will primarily invove coverage of specialist clinics, but may also include pulmonary function reporting and bronchoscopies as required supporting the ward service roster.
Essential Criteria
The successful applicant will be expected to participate in and support the clinical, research, teaching and quality activities of the department and ideally will be qualified in Sleep Medicine as well as Respiratory.
