About the Role

Seeking an expert musculoskeletal physiotherapist to provide leadership and excellence in clinical care in a Grade 4 role at Western Health in a full time fixed term capacity

  • Full time fixed term until 30 June 2020
  • Responsible for providing strategic leadership to our extensive musculoskeletal and advanced practice team
  • Requires excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to Western Health’s rapidly developing service
  • A strong focus on  research and quality improvement is required
  • Role may require working across Footscray/Sunshine/Williamstown sites

This is an excellent opportunity for an expert musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our extensive physiotherapy team in a leadership role.

Duties

  • Provide expert clinical and strategic leadership in the musculoskeletal and advanced practice teams
  • Coordinate and oversee the advanced practice physiotherapy program at Western Health
  • Responsible for the supervision of senior clinician physiotherapists
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
  • Lead ongoing research and quality improvement activities

Skills & Experience OR Essential Criteria

  • Applicants must be currently registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
