About the Role

As a member of the Engineering Services team, the Asset and Administration Coordinator directly manages a team of 5 and provides administrative support to Engineering and Biomedical Engineering team. The position will be split between administrative and financial duties.

You will be required to have a knowledge of the wider team and their specific responsibilities - assisting when needed. You will ensure the smooth running of the office, while also being responsible for monthly reconciliations and assisting with audits.

The Asset and Administration Coordinator and the Administration Team are responsible for the Engineering switchboard function, processing electronic Work Orders, dealing with general enquiries, providing exceptional customer service, invoicing/general accounts, reconciliation of accounts, raising purchase orders and fleet management.

Selection Criteria Essential: Experience working within an Engineering / Construction Department
Essential: Sound understanding of the Procurement & Contract Process
Essential: Proven experience is Asset Coordination
Essential: Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, Excel and Word)
Essential: Familiarity with hospital environments and the health care system
Desirable: Experience in MYOB
Desirable: Accounting Certificate or Diploma of Leadership and Management.
