About the Role


 Sunshine Hospital at Western Health has a vacancy for a Junior unaccredited) O & G Registrar for 12 months commencing 5 February 2018.

The position will suit a prevocational PGY 3 - 4 Doctor who intends to apply for the RANZCOG Training Program within the next 12 - 24 months.

As an unaccredited position, the clinical duties of the junior Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar will focus on service provision in the Maternity Services, with some limited gynaecology exposure through both acute and elective cases.

Educational and learning opportunities provided as part of the RANZCOG accredited structured program are available to the unaccredited registrars, subject to rostering and service commitments.

The rotations will include night duty (supervised by a senior Registrar on site) and exposure to the full range of antenatal and peripartum obstetrics including significant opportunities to be involved in complex high acuity maternity cases.
