About the Role

Western Health, one of the largest providers of maternity services in Australia, is looking to appoint enthusiastic & experienced sessional and full time Obsterics & Gynaecology specialists. These positions will support the transition to a Level 6 (Tertiary) maternity service in Victoria with the opening of the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s in mid-2019.

  • This position would suit experienced clinicians who are able to contribute to our team based care system and support a collaborative model of maternity care. 
  • The role would involve acute obstetrics and gynaecology, antenatal clinics, elective caesarean section lists and on-call cover.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to approximately 0.5 EFT (e.g. 2 days per week).
  • With an expressed aim of becoming the best O&G training centre in Australia, experience in supporting trainees and ensuring their advancement would be valuable.
