• Cardiac Technologist - Echocardiography Grade 2 or 3
• Permanent Full Time, Part Time or Casual – Sunshine Hospital
• Supported by a Cardiac Echo Educator and friendly team

Western Health Cardiology provides inpatient and outpatient services across both Footscray and Sunshine hospitals. Each site has a Cardiac Care Unit, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories and a Cardiac Diagnostic Service. The Cardiology Services are supported by the Intensive Care Units located at both sites. The paediatric cardiology service is located at Sunshine campus.

The Grade 2 or 3 Cardiac Technologist staff perform and support acute and elective, inpatient and outpatient investigations across both Sunshine and Footscray campuses. This includes Trans-thoracic Echocardiograms, Trans-oesophageal Echocardiograms and Cardiac Echo Stress Tests.

The successful applicant will have:

• Have successfully completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound ( DMU or QUT equivalent) or undertaking the same.
• ASAR accreditation
• Previous Experience in Cardiac Echocardiography
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to quality, safe person centred care
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
• Participation in the on call echocardiographer roster if required
