Position Summary |
We are seeking experienced Grade 2 Clinical Pharmacists to work in the new Sunshine Emergency Department. This is a permanent full time position (80 hours per fortnight) – Available NOW
Under the guidance of the Grade 3 Emergency Medicines Pharmacist, you will join a growing team of talented Emergency Pharmacists.You will have outstanding clinical capabilities, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate a willingness to develop and maintain your own knowledge as well as contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of innovative pharmacy services.
Whilst the positions are based at Sunshine Hospital, you will have the opportunity to operate across all of our Western Health campuses.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold at least 3 years’ broad experience in providing high quality clinical pharmacy services to a range of clinical specialties
- Provide expert professional knowledge to ensure that patient outcomes are optimised through working to achieve the best quality use of medicines
- Be a positive role model to junior team members, as well as orientate, mentor and supervise clinical pharmacy staff, pharmacy interns and students
Support educational and operational activities, such as quality assurance activities and practice research projects.
