About the Role
The Temporary Maternity Leave Grade 3 Sonographer will play an integral role in the delivery of ultrasound services to the people of the West.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating care, compassion and empathy. They will maintain a positive manner and work collaboratively with all Ultrasound team members. As the successful applicant for this position, you will have good clinical imaging skills, good communication, motivation and dedication to ongoing clinical excellence.
Duties
Actively support, participate and assist in the daily work in the Ultrasound Department on the Site rostered to by:
- Demonstrating a raised level of technical ability in the field of General and/or Obstetric and /or Paediatric Sonography
- Participate in relevant professional development and continuing education activities
- Adheres to WHMI correct patient Identification processes
- Support and contribute to quality and continuous improvement activities
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant for this position will have
- Raised level of technical ability in the field of Sonography
- Excellent patient care
- Excellent communication
- Proven dedication to ongoing clinical skill development and training.
Essential requirements
- Registration within the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry
- Working with Children’s Check (WWC)
