Position Summary

Health Information Manager / Clinical Coder

This position will be responsible for accurate, timely and financially responsible coding and DRG analysis including auditing, Casemix educational activities and data reporting.  The position is also responsible for participating in regular documentation audits and associated education programs. Remote work options are available.

To be Successful in this Role you require:

  • A recognised qualification in Health Information Management (or equivalent) or Clinical Coding
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Australian and Victorian Coding standards and related advice
  • Minimum of 2 years unsupervised coding experience in a Health Service with similar Casemix using ICD-10-AM 11th Edition (applicable for HIM Grade 2)
  • Demonstrate high standard of organisation, communication, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
