Position Summary |
An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join the Subacute Aged Care Inpatient Occupational Therapy team at Western Health. The successful applicant must have well developed assessment and treatment skills in the delivery of evidence based, person centred Occupational Therapy services to a subacute aged care cohort. They will be working as part of an innovative and energetic multidisciplinary team and will be involved in the supervision of Grade 1 OT and /or Allied Health Assistant staff. Sound communication and organisational skills are essential for this position.
To be Successful in this Role you will:
- Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
- Have extensive knowledge and experience in aged care service provision
- Have strong collaboration skills
- Have experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrate consolidated clinical leadership skills
- Have experience in quality improvement and research
