Position Summary |
The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Phase 2 Program will be managed by the Digital Health Director as the Program Director. The Director is supported by the Senior Project and Testing Manager and a team of five experienced Project Managers that will lead and support each project stream. Each of the project streams corresponds to a clinical division at Western Health.
- Emergency, Medicine and Access
- Perioperative and Critical Care
- Women’s and Children’s
- Specialist Clinics
- Cancer Services
These roles provide functional and technical support for a range of current and future solutions within the WH EMR environment to support the use of EMR technology such as DCW’s, Printers, iBus, integration of ECG carts, Spot Monitors, Infusion Pumps and Bedside monitoring with the EMR.
This position description covers 2 full time FTE, however part time roles will also be considered.
The scheduled start date of this role is February 2021 with a contract until April 2023.

Selection Criteria |
Essential: Demonstrate your knowledge of and experience in supporting IT and medical devices in a clinical setting. Essential: Demonstrate your knowledge of and experience with Cerner EMR or equivalent EMR implementations and systems. Essential: Provide two examples in your previous work experience where you have used critical thinking, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate and understand issues along with their implications. You must use the examples to demonstrate how you think laterally as well as logically. Essential: Demonstrate your experience of dealing effectively with managing multiple tasks with competing priorities. This includes working under pressure and delivering against tight deadlines and using your skills in problem solving, prioritisation, decision-making, time management, and planning. Essential: Provide an example of your strong understanding of testing processes including your experience in actively participating in testing phases. This includes competency in the use of Quality Centre, or similar software, for test script execution, capture of evidence and defect management. |
