About the Role
Improvement and Innovation Partner – Division of Quality, Safety and Patient Experience
This is an exciting time to be joining the Quality, Safety and Patient Experience team at Western Health with the opening of the Joan Kirner Women's and Children's service (a Level 6 maternity service) in May 2019, the Sunshine Hospital Emergency Department expansion underway and planned development of the new Footscray Hospital.

The Improvement and Innovation Partner functions as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for supporting the strategy, culture and organisational quality systems needed to meet our commitment to Best Care.
The Improvement and Innovation Partner works collaboratively with senior managers, clinical/non-clinical staff and consumers to ensure that Western Health has an effective, co-ordinated, organisation-wide approach to quality system development and implementation. The primary focus of this work is patient experience in addition to promotion and support for improvement and innovation. The Improvement and Innovation Partner plays a role in ensuring that Western Health’s approach to quality improvement remains contemporary, focused and based on the best available evidence.
