About the Role

Western Health has 3 Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories across both Footscray and Sunshine campuses, providing both acute and elective services including coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures, electrophysiology and pacing and  one of the busiest 24/7 acute STEMI service provider in Melbourne.

The cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories are part of Western Health’s large Cardiology service supported by Coronary Care units and Cardiac diagnostic units both sites.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated, experienced and suitably qualified nurse to join our leadership team where your contribution to excellence will be valued and recognised.

The ANUM is at the forefront of the provision of high quality patient care within the Labs, striving to achieve the highest standards in clinical practise, teaching and research.

As an ANUM you will work closely with the NUM to provide safe environment for staff and patients and a positive work culture and lead departmental quality improvements for the service.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a current AHPRA registration
  • Have completed a post graduate qualification in critical care nursing or equivalent
  • Have minimum 3 years’ experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing
  • Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
  • Be accountable and demonstrate strong, supportive and engaging leadership style
  • Previous management experience advantageous not essential.
