About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst is available within the Financial Planning & Analysis team at Western Health. This position is based at the Sunshine and Footscray Hospital.
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will provide business planning, performance reporting and financial analysis services to support key stakeholders across various business units within the organisation. Specifically to understand business needs, assessing the financial impact of operational initiatives, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements and then supporting the communication and delivery of those requirements with relevant parties.
Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enable you to effectively present business ideas, financial data and performance analysis to a wide range of audiences. Your superior stakeholder management and interpersonal skills will allow you to work seamlessly with the finance team, operation mangers, divisional directors and executive directors of WH. You must have extensive knowledge of business management including budget development, forecasting, costing, analysis, and reporting. Your positive, and “can do” attitude will ensure you are well fit into the energetic and productive FP&A team.
Essential Criteria
To meet the requirements of the role you must hold tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or other finance disciplines with CPA or CA designation preferred. Experience at senior levels within health services would be an advantage but not necessary.
