Position Summary |
Are you a Speech Pathologist wanting to work in a paediatric hospital? An opportunity exists for an experienced Grade 2 paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing Speech Pathology Department. Based at Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s at Sunshine Hospital, this part time, ongoing position will involve assessment and management of neonates, infants and young children with complex feeding, developmental delay and/or autism. This position will also include staff supervision and clinical education.
To be Successful in this Role you
- Will have clinical experience and theoretical knowledge in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders in children with complex presentations
- Will have an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team (eg. Growth and Nutrition Clinic; Autism Assessment Clinic)
- Will have highly developed interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills
- Will have a commitment to continuous quality improvement, clinical research and professional development of self and others
