Western Health Digital Health Operations Team is seeking a temporary, part-time BOSSnet Functional Support Analyst until May 2022.
The Digital Health BOSSnet Functional Support Analyst is responsible for providing support and ongoing development of the DMR and EMR to ensure that use by clinical staff is optimised and continuously improving to enable provision of the highest quality care to patients of Western Health.
The WH EMR currently consists of the following Applications.
- AllScripts BOSSnet Digital Medical Record (DMR)
- Cerner PowerChart (Clinical Documentation, Medication Management, Orders Management)
At a high level, this position is primarily focussed on ensuring that the BOSSnet DMR functionality is effectively managed and maintained. This includes oversight of areas including but not limited to:
- General BOSSnet functionality and development (including eForms)
- System Integration between DMR and other systems, including Cerner PowerChart and related modules
There will also be exposure to the Cerner portion of the WH EMR centred around the below fundamental areas:
- Location hierarchy
- System Integration and interfaces (HL7)
- AoF (Add on the Fly)
- Position design and provisioning
- Clinical reporting
- Management of code sets and event set hierarchy.
While the role will have a focus on providing support for the DMR, there will be an increasing requirement to be involved in EMR support and related activities longer term as WH look to implement further modules as part of Phase 2 as the Cerner footprint continues to expand within the WH EMR.
