About the Role
Seeking an experienced NAATI Certified Italian interpreter to work full time across all Western Health sites with outstanding interpreting and interpersonal skills and that demonstrate a willingness to develop and maintain their own knowledge.
Duties
- Interpreting for Italian patients across all areas of Western Health
- Working collaboratively with Western Health staff to ensure a timely and effective service
- Promote ongoing learning and education for all staff regarding Interpreting services
- Ensure safe, accurate and high quality interpreting is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
- Maintaining an accurate record of statistical information
Essential Criteria
- Successful transition to NAATI Certification –Only NAATI Certified Interpreters will be considered
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in working in a health service
- Possess excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
