About the Role
Western Health After Hours Administrator – Footscray Campus
ZC1 Permanent Part Time Position (48hrs per fortnight)
Are you looking for a senior nursing management opportunity? Would you like to be part of a highly skilled, professional, enthusiastic team who take pride in providing high quality service? Western Health has an exciting opportunity for suitably experienced Registered Nurses to expand their skills performing in the After Hours Administration role.
As part of the After Hours Leadership team across Western Health’s major campuses you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient management of the hospital site, services and resources after hours, weekends and public holidays. You will act as an organizational resource and site incident commander in critical incidents and codes and oversee nurse staffing needs, responding to unplanned staffing deficits as resources allow.
At all times the successful candidates will be expected to adhere to the western Health CARES values supporting high quality patient care and a positive patient experience. Applicants will need to have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and problem solving and conflict management skills. A commitment to organizational goals, quality patient care and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships across the organization are essential.
