Position Summary |
Western Health is seeking to appoint a Corporate Records Manager. This newly created full time position will oversee the development, implementation and review of the organisation’s corporate records management strategy and will be responsible for the effective and appropriate management of the organisation's corporate records.
To be successful in the role, you will;
- Have a thorough understanding of legislation that impacts on records management,
- Be able to actively identify emerging issues and opportunities,
- Ensure that relevant legislative obligations are met,
- Public Records Office Victoria (PROV) standards are complied with,
- Be able to assume business ownership responsibility for the organisation's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint EDRMS
- Health Service or hospital records experience

Selection Criteria |
Essential: Appropriate qualification in records management, information management or related fields. Essential: Experience and proven success in the operation of computerised record and/or document management systems, preferably in a government environment. Essential: Knowledge of records and information management best practices, compliance standards and legislative requirements. Essential: Strong written and verbal communication and broad interpersonal skills that can be effectively applied with a diverse group of customers. Essential: Demonstrated ability to identify and negotiate outcomes, plan activities and set priorities to achieve objectives and deadlines. Essential: Prior experience working with senior stakeholders to drive effective records management policies and procedures across an organisation. Essential: Successful record of identifying customer needs, developing service strategies and providing quality customer service. Essential: Ability to implement new systems and/or changes to systems related to the management of documents or files stored in various mediums. Desirable: Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint EDRMS. Desirable: Health Service or hospital records experience. |
