Our continued growth will see the completion of a new purpose built, multi-storey Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital. Thsi will deliver a brand new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
About the Role
Western Health, one of the largest providers of maternity services in Australia, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic & experienced Head of Unit - Neonatal Services. This position will support the considerable growth experienced by Western Health over the last 5 years and help prepare for the opening of The Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the expansion of the Level 5 SCN and a brand new NICU. This stand-alone facility on the Sunshine Hospital site is expected to open in early 2019 and will facilitate a transition to the next Level 6 (Tertiary) maternity service in Victoria.
- This position would suit an experienced leader and clinician who is able to drive the development of a new neonatal intensive care unit and support the neonatal service at Western Health to become an the best in Australia.
