The Western Health Cardiology Unit provides inpatient and outpatient cardiac services across both Footscray and Sunshine campuses.

To assist with the ongoing  growth in this region,  we are currently recruiting a Cardiac Technologist - Echocardiographer to work on an ongoing part time or casual basis.  

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrated successful completion of a three year Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent
• Previous experience in Echocardiography
• Ability to perform and interpret all echocardiographic investigations
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
• Be available to participate in the on call roster

Desirable:

• Undertaking or hold a Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (QUT or DMU)
• Relevant knowledge and or experience in a busy Cardiac setting
