An exciting opportunity exists for an appropriately skilled Obstetrician to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine and Early Pregnancy Assessment services team as an Obstetric Sonologist.

The Early Pregnancy Assessment Service will be commencing in March 2017 with obstetric ultrasound services provided by the Sunshine Maternal Fetal Medicine Service. Sessional vacancies ae available for an appropriately qualified obstetric sonologist (COGU, CMFM or FRANZCOG with DDU) to join the team and work within both the MFM and EPAS Units. The Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit is supported by Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialists, COGU subspecialists and experienced midwives and sonographers, while the EPAS unit will have its own dedicated gynaecology team available to assess and  manage the patients. A large part of the EPAS role will involve training Obstetrics and Gynaecology registrars in first trimester ultrasound.
