About the Role

Seeking a motivated Grade 1 Pharmacist with excellent clinical, dispensary and interpersonal skills that demonstrate a willingness to develop and maintain their knowledge, to work in the Footscray Hospital Pharmacy Department

  • Temporary, part-time 48 hours per fortnight (3x8-hour days per week Mon-Wed) available from 13th May 2019 to 28th February 2020
  • Contribute to the decisions that shape our health service
  • Provide dispensing and clinical services to patients and clients of WH  
  • Support of the dispensary manager and clinical co-ordinator

Duties

  • To ensure patient outcomes are optimized by working with other health professionals to deliver the best Quality Use of Medicines
  • Providing clinical and dispensing services in accordance to SHPA standards of practice and legislative requirements
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of pharmacy pre-registrants and undergraduate students. 

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Eligible for general registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in providing clinical pharmacy services to a broad range of specialty areas.
