About the Role

Applications are invited for a Full-Time, Temporary position (80 hours per fortnight ending 25/12/2019)  in this large Occupational Therapy service, which works from a model of person centred, occupation-based practice, supported by a robust staff development and support framework. This position will be based in the community based rehabilitation team.  Notably, should an ongoing role become available, the Occupational Therapy department offers a rotational program, with staff working in a different clinical area every six months, providing an excellent opportunity to gain and consolidate a wide variety of experience and skills.

Duties

Provision of evidence based, person centred Occupational Therapy, in partnership with patients, their significant others and members of the multidisciplinary care team, in accordance with Western Health values,  policies and procedures, and Occupational Therapy Service clinical guidelines

Skills & Experience OR Essential Criteria

  • Registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence
  • Experience at graduate or undergraduate level in relevant clinical areas
