About the Role
Seeking an enthusiastic Grade 3 Pharmacist, with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills to work in the Medicines Information setting across Western Health
- Permanent, Part time 48 hours per fortnight (8 hours a day Monday to Wednesday) available from 01/03/2019
- Based at Footscray Hospital in a job-share arrangement
- Provide Drug Information services to Western Health
- Contribute to the decisions that shape our health service
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Pharmacist to work with Western Health clinical service providers to provide medicines information and achieve best care for patients.
Duties
- To co-ordinate the drug information services
- Support pharmacists and prescribers by answering complex drug information queries and maintain records of all questions received
- Maintain up to date in house drug information files, databases, texts and journals
- Supervise the publication of the Pharmacy Newsletter as Editor
- Co-ordinate the review of Adverse Drug Reaction Reports
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Eligible for general registration with AHPRA.
- Relevant Post Graduate Qualification.
- Previous experience in providing Drug Information Services.
