About the Role

Are you an experienced health service manager with an effective working knowledge of the Mental Health Act?

Can you advocate effectively for the needs of our patients who require mental health care and develop our services and relationships with two external service providers?

Western Health has a unique and very exciting opportunity for an experienced health service manager who has the knowledge, skills and attributes to develop and provide operational oversight, expertise and leadership of the relationship between Western Health and its mental health service providers.


This position will provide timely and effective representation of Western Health and its patients to Werribee Mercy Mental Health and North Western Mental Health services and the Mental Health branch of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will build capability within Western Heath and support our front-line clinicians to ensure systems, processes, service agreements, structures and relationships with external stakeholders and mental health service providers are all designed to optimise care for these patients.
