About the Role

This position is permanent part time at 16 hours per fortnight. The role of the Urology Administration Officer incorporates providing front desk reception for patients, visitors and staff, and arriving and departing patients in the Western Health Patient Management System.

As a member of the Perioperative and Critical Care Administrative team, the Administration Officer is at the forefront in the provision of inpatient and outpatient services. The Administration Officer assumes accountability and responsibility for their own practice, based on their level of education, preparation and competence.


  • Providing reception and administrative support at the Urology clinic;
  • Arrive and depart patients in the iPM system;
  • Perform photocopying and letter distribution;
  • Receive, screen and/or transfer all telephone calls to department;
  • Collect  and distribute departmental mail;
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
  • Perform other duties as required.
