The Williamstown Hospital Emergency Department is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Nurse Unit Manager to lead and manage the nine clinical space department. The successful applicant will be innvoative with demonstarted leadership skills.

The Williamstown Emergency Department, manages over 1000 presentations per month. The majority of patients who present to the Williamstown Emergency Department are discharged home, with follow up and support in the community. The department manages a high number of Paediatric presentations, and has a strong and important relationship with the community of Williamstown.
This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with the Medical, Nursing, Allied Health and Operational leads of the department and Division of Emergency Medicine and Access.
To be Successful in this Role you
Will have recent relevant clinical experience and/or qualifications in Critical Care/Emergency Nursing
- Will have highly developed organisational, critical thinking and assessment skills
- Will be committed to ensuring the department achieves all KPIs including workforce, quality, access and financial.
- Will be an experienced leader with the ability to recognise and realise opportunities for the development of the department and the service as a whole.
