Position Summary

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Women’s Health Physiotherapist to join our team as a Grade 2 Women’s Health Physiotherapist in a full time temporary capacity until August 2021 (part time applications welcome).

The successful candidate will use their Women’s Health physiotherapy skills to deliver best care to a varied caseload including maternity ward in-patients as well as outpatients with pelvic floor dysfunction or pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions. There is also the opportunity to run group classes including hydrotherapy and pilates.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their expertise in Women’s Health; contribute to the strategic direction of the team; as well as participate in Research and Quality Improvement within the Physiotherapy service. This is well supported position and has opportunities for ongoing professional development.

To be Successful in this Role you

  • Will have well-developed clinical skills for working in Women’s Health as well as experience in supervising staff and students
  • Will have or be working towards a Post graduate certificate/Masters in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.
  • Will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Will work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy and Multidisciplinary teams
  • Will ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and Live Best Care framework
  • Will contribute to a culture that values ongoing learning and be part of a positive workplace
