Position Summary |
We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist to provide high quality clinical care to the patients that Western Health services, to supervise and train Junior Medical Staff and support Western Health Strategic Priorities. There are ample opportunities for peer review and discussion.
You will have well-developed professional communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to professional development of self and others. A demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and delivery of evidence-based best care is essential.
To be Successful in this Role you
- You will have a recognised FRACP qualification.
- Relevant experience as a consultant in Paediatric Cardiology
- Current Australian medical registration
- Experience in the support and supervision of Junior Medical Staff
- Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team
- Effective organisational skills, with respect to time management and delegation
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
