About the Role

Seeking an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our paediatric team in a Grade 2, full time permanent capacity.

  • Provide excellence in physiotherapy care to paediatric patient populations
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of junior staff and students
  • Be well supported by experienced and dedicated senior clinicians
  • Opportunities for  research and quality improvement, and participation in ongoing professional development

Duties

  • Provide physiotherapy to infants, children and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds with a range of orthopaedic and neurodevelopmental conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • May include involvement in Special Care Nursery, plagiocephaly clinic and hydrotherapy
  • Responsible for the supervision of junior staff and students through Western Health’s University of Melbourne Clinical school
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
  • Contribute to ongoing research and quality improvement activities

Essential Criteria

  • Applicants must be currently registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
