About the Role

Seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Aged Care team on a part time (0.4) temporary basis in a Grade 3 role. 

  • Part time (0.4) temporary (maternity leave) until April 2019
  • Provide leadership to the inpatient Aged Care team at Sunshine Hospital
  • Requires excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to Western Health’s rapidly developing service
  • A strong focus on  research and quality improvement is required

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our extensive physiotherapy team in a Grade 3 leadership role. 

Duties

  • Lead the inpatient Aged Care Physiotherapy team at Sunshine Hospital
  • Responsible for the supervision of junior staff and students through Western Health’s University of Melbourne Clinical school
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
  • Lead ongoing research and quality improvement activities

Essential Criteria

  • Applicants must be currently registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
