About the Role

Western Health Finance is seeking a revenue services officer who is enthusiastic, has good work ethics, can work unsupervised and presents with a personality that affords them the ability to integrate well and contribute to the Accounts Administration Team.

As a full time employee (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm) you will be required to assist with a number of different tasks in the area of administration in the accounts team.

Duties

  • Talking to patients and/or their carers regarding invoices
  • Liaising with social workers, case managers and transitional care to generate patient invoices
  • Handling patient enquiries via telephone and emails
  • Account receivable tasks, billing and collections
  • Assisting with month end tasks

Accounts receivables or health industry experience is not necessary as training will be provided however to be eligible for this position you MUST be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent computer literacy - MS Office as a minimum
  • Strong experience in data entry and administrative tasks
  • A flexible, “hands-on,” proactive approach, with really good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist, screen and intercept telephone calls and ability to liaise with multiple individuals from the health sector, patients and their carers.
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role
  • Excellent customer service skills
