Position Summary

The Referral Management Team is responsible for the receipt, triage & wait listing of referrals and booking of patient appointments. The Patient Management Team is responsible for the patient arrival, clinical review and outcome management. Underlying these processes is data entry, data integrity and customer service.

The Specialist Clinic Clerk is responsible for the clerical and receptionist duties within the Outpatient Department.  In the course of his/her duties, he/she liaises with nursing, medical and ancillary staff, hospital departments, patients, other health care providers and members of the public.
