About the Role

Western Footscray is seeking expressions of interest from a highly motivated Grade 3 or 4 Experienced Theatre Technician on a permanent Night Duty basis.

This role requires thorough communication with the nursing staff, surgeons, anaesthetists, the theatre coordinator and leadership team. The applicant must be dedicated and motivated to provide excellent customer service and patient safety in the operating theatre.

  • Work autonomously and in a team
  • A commitment to delivery of excellence in patient experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot theatre equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • A commitment to safe moves and occupational health and safety
  • Efficient and organised with equipment required for each list
  • 3 years theatre experience

Selection Criteria Essential: All applicants must have a certificate III and/or certificate IV (or working towards) in Health Services Assistance. (Theatre Support) with 3 years Theatre experience.
