Position Summary

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our team in a temporary part-time capacity (0.7 EFT) until 31 January 2022.

The successful candidate will use their cardiorespiratory physiotherapy skills to deliver best care to a variety of complex client cohorts in the acute ward setting.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their clinical expertise; provide supervision and training to staff and students; and participate in Research and Quality Improvement within the Physiotherapy department. This is well supported position and has opportunities for ongoing professional development.

To be Successful in this Role you

  • Will have well developed clinical skills for working in the acute wards, as well as experience in supervising both staff and students
  • Will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Will work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy and Multidisciplinary teams
  • Will ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and Live Best Care framework
  • Will contribute to a culture that values ongoing learning and be part of a positive workplace
