Registered Nurse- Temporary Part Time
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Registered Nurse interested in a nursing role on an Acute Medical, Drug Health, Rheumatology and Dermatology Ward at Western Hospital. If you are a dynamic, experienced nursing professional with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care with in our Best Care Framework, then this position could be for you.
As part of the nursing team, the Registered nurse will be responsible for the provision of high quality nursing care to patients within the ward, liaising with relatives and carers and other members of the Multidisciplinary Team.

Essential
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent
- Registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Successful completion of GNP year
- Minimum of one year’s full-time or equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse
- Possess excellent clinical skills
- Effective organisational skills, with respect to time management and delegation
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team
- Demonstrated evidence of undertaking professional development activities to maintain and enhance nursing expertise
- A commitment to high quality, safe and person centred patient care
Desirable
- Previous experience in General Medicine, Drug Health, Rheumatology and Dermatology
- Demonstrated commitment to own professional development.
- Flexibility with rostering
