About the Role

The Paediatric Specialist Clinics Registered Nurse position is a role for a professional, motivated and energetic team member who is ready for a new challenge. We are very excited to be relocating to the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s to meet the health care needs of the children and families located in the western region of Melbourne.  

The Paediatric Specialist Clinics Registered Nurse will play a key role in supporting current services and developing new services.

The Paediatric Specialist Clinics Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with all members of the Paediatric Specialist Clinics team to ensure that children and families receive appropriate and timely access to care.

The Paediatric Specialist Clinics Registered Nurse will be the primary contact for all members of the multidisciplinary team and the children and families we care for. This position will foster a culture of inclusiveness, flexibility, accountability and innovation.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated abilities in:

  • Clinic flow management
  • Referral management
  • Meeting the KPIs set by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Access Policy
