About the Role
Seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our aged care team in a Grade 2, full time temporary basis. This is a 12 month parental leave position.
- Provide excellence in physiotherapy care to aged care patient populations, primarily in the Bed Based Transition Care Program at Williamstown Hospital.
- Potential for rotations across different areas within the aged care physiotherapy stream
- Contribute to the ongoing development of junior staff and students
- Be well supported by experienced and dedicated senior clinicians
- Opportunities for research and quality improvement, and participation in ongoing professional development

Duties
- Provide physiotherapy services in an age care inpatient subacute setting
- Responsible for the supervision of junior staff and students through Western Health’s University of Melbourne Clinical school
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
- Contribute to ongoing research and quality improvement activities
Essential Criteria
- Applicants must be currently registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
