Western Health is excited to offer this program to Registered Nurses with emergency nursing experience to take the next step in their professional development to enhance their career by undertaking training in a recognised mental health nursing education program. The program offers an excellent opportunity to develop mental health nursing skills within a dynamic, supported department. This is a structured program with a comprehensive orientation, paid professional development days, a strong clinical supervision component and competency based skill development requirements. Participants will be supported by a dedicated program coordinator as well as an Educator in Mental Health Nursing and Alcohol and Other Drugs Nursing.
