About the Role
The Footscray CCU is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) on a full time basis with outstanding clinical, managerial and interpersonal ability to further strengthen our ANUM team.
This is your chance to get in at the ground floor as we build our teams capability and size, readying ourselves for a new state of the art Cardiac Care Unit in The New Footscray currently scheduled to open in 2025.

Duties
- Working collaboratively with the NUM to manage the unit and staff
- Manage the CCU as nurse in charge on a shift by shift basis, facilitating patient flow through the unit
- Promote ongoing learning and education for all staff in the unit
- Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
- Provide exceptional care to patients in acute Cardiac Care setting
- Competent in Advanced Life Support (ALS) to facilitate care and transport of monitored patients
- Support and lead organisational change as a member of the unit’s management team
- Actively engage in planning and development of our team as we build towards the New Footscray Hospital
Essential criteria
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent
- Successful completion of Postgraduate qualifications in Cardiac/ Critical Care Nursing
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Demonstrate excellent clinical and organisation skills
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

- Management experience or qualifications
