Position Summary |
Western Health Cardiology is inviting suitably qualified Interventional Cardiologists to apply for cardiac cath lab (locum) sessions. The successful applicant will have outstanding interpersonal and clinical cardiology skills. This is an opportunity to join the highest volume interventional cardiology service within Victoria and the sole public provider of cardiac services within the western metropolitan region of Melbourne. This position would be well suited to an Interventional Cardiologist with an established practice in the catchment area of Western Health.
To be successful in this Role you
- Will be able to commit to a minimum availability of one session per fortnight
- Contribute to the clinical supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers
- Will be eligible for credentialing as a Cardiologist at Western Health
- Will have relevant clinical experience and competence as a Cardiologist
- Have the opportunity to jon a rapidly growing service with state of the art facilities at Sunshine Hospital and New Footscray Hospital planned for a 2025 opening.
