Western Health Medical Imaging (WHMI) is seeking a Part time contract Sonographer.

WHMI is the major provider of radiology services to the people of the western suburbs of Melbourne and is located across the Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown Hospitals.

Our state of the facilities and Ultrasound equipment encompasses; Philips EPIQ 7’s,

IU 22’s , GE Logic E9’s and Voluson’s. Our departments are fully filmless in a PACS environment and provide sonographers with an extensive variety of examinations that includes: Obstetric, Gynae, MSK, Vascular, paediatric and general ultrasound.

The successful candidate will have:

• Be able to demonstrate a range of Ultrasound skills across  Obstetric, Gynae, MSK, Vascular, paediatric and general ultrasound.
• Be an advocate for clinical excellence
• Be an advocate for best care outcomes for all patients
• Have exceptional communication skills
• Be able to adapt patient examinations to individual patient needs

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating  care, compassion and empathy.

They will maintain a positive manner and work collaboratively with all Ultrasound team members.
