About the Role
Western Health is fast becoming known as a dynamic teaching hospital and this exciting leadership opportunity will involve leading, mentoring, teaching and supervising medical staff within the Addiction Medicine Unit. The successful applicant will further develop a responsive Consultation and Liaison service across Footscray and Sunshine Hospitals.
This diverse role also requires that the Specialist Physician provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with the staff of Western Health Drug Health Services (WHDHS), in providing medical services for inpatients of Drug Health Services who have addiction related medical complexities
The successful applicant will be a dynamic, professional team player with a strong interest in research and QA and work in collaboration with the WHDHS Director and the Executive Director of Medical services to plan and coordinate WHDHS strategic priorities, operational requirements and service delivery
The HOU/Specialist Physician will become a part of our supportive teams, both across the hospital and at WHDHS, committed to role modelling Western Health Values in all that they do, whilst remaining focused on delivering the very best care.
