A great opportunity exists for a Perioperative Clinical Nurse Educator (Anaesthetics/PACU) with at least 4 years clinical experience and a passion for education to work with the Western Health Perioperative Education team across Western Health’s’ perioperative sites. Western Health is an expanding health network with campuses at Footscray, Sunshine, Williamstown and Sunbury Day Hospital.

For this role you need to be:

• highly motivated and a self starter
• ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.

Your clinical skills in this specialty will be preferably from the Anaesthetics/PACU domain with experience around Scrub/Scout highly regarded.

You will have a Post Graduate degree in Perioperative nursing with previous experience in education desirable.

This position is a permanent 0.5 EFT working 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, across WH’s perioperative sites.

The successful applicant will work both within the Perioperative team and the broader Education Department to deliver high quality education programs to undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students and the perioperative nursing staff.
