Opportunity for Clinical Services Director – Emergency, Medicine and Access

Western Health is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated leader to move into the role of Clinical Services Director Emergency, Medicine and Access as a nine month secondment opportunity.

The role of the Clinical Services Director Emergency, Medicine and Access is to provide strategic clinical leadership to the Division and partner with the Divisional Director to deliver safe and sustainable clinical services for the Division and organisation through the implementation of contemporary multidisciplinary models of care.

Reporting to the Executive Director Operations (operationally) and Chief Medical Officer (professionally), the successful applicant will ensure successful achievement of all clinical, operational, financial and performance goals for the Division whilst embedding a culture of continuous improvement to meet business and organisational priorities.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Outstanding clinical, business and leadership skills.
  • Proven capacity at a senior level to develop and implement strategic improvement initiatives in a large, complex and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role in health with demonstrated delivery of value adding, transformational change.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
