Sunshine Emergency Department are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, forward thinking ANUM to join our dynamic and innovative team.

Sunshine Emergency department is recognised for the important role it plays in the provision of care for more than 86,000 adult and paediatric patients per annum in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

Sunshine Emergency is an exciting, challenging and rewarding place to work, with a friendly team that prides itself on delivering high quality care to a diverse range of high acuity patients.

You will be need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively co-ordinate patient flow and large numbers of staff.  You will need to be able to work in a cohesive multidisciplinary team and display experience in the management and operational role of this unit.

Essential Criteria –

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Possess a relevant Post Graduate Qualification in Emergency Nursing
• Demonstrate effective management skills appropriate to Associate Nurse Unit Manager Role.
• Demonstrate skills in the relevant nursing specialty
• Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills
• Possess well-highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution strategies
• Committed to a high quality, safe and person centred care
• Be innovative, resourceful and adaptable to change
